How
exactly does the service work?
Pretty simple really!
We come
to your house and let ourselves in your backyard. We scoop up all the
doggy doo and leave you a receipt. All of our equipment (and shoes) are
disinfected before we go to the next job!
Do
I have to sign up for up for a specific amount of time or sign a
contract?
No, you can start and stop service at anytime, just
give us a call. We do not bill in advance, we charge for services that
have been completed. If you stop our service, then restart again at a
later date, there may be another initial clean-up fee depending on how
much work you've done since we last serviced your yard! This fee will be
determined at our visit.
Sign me up! How
do I do that....?
Give us a call and we can answer any other
questions you may have and we'll schedule a time for our initial visit.
During that visit we'll (obviously) find out where you live, met you
and your dog(s), have you sign a waiver to allow us in your back-yard,
and discuss your options, needs, and schedule! At that time we can go
ahead and do your initial clean-up, or schedule it for a later day.
(Initial clean-up fee due the day of service)
Should
I unlock the gate?
Yes please! We do not climb fences or engage
in any type of activity that would cause a call to the police by your
neighbors, or cause damage to your property, or injure our employees .
You may provide us with a key or combination at our initial set up
meeting.
Can my dog be in the yard when you
come scoop ?
The majority of the time, yes. Remember you dog
acts differently when you are not home! If your dog is not good with
strangers and will not let us into the yard, we ask that on your
scheduled scooping day you restrain them or keep them in the house.
What if I need to skip a service?
Going on
vacation? Dogs won't be there for a while? Have backyard plans for that
day? No Problem! Just give us a call at least 24 hours in advance and
we'll reschedule. There will be no charge if you call in time. If you
forget to unlock the gate that day, or we can't get in due to the dogs,
we'll forgive you once and reschedule, but you will be charged for
service the second time.
What if it snows
or rains?
Unfortunately you dog still poops, so we'll be there!
If there is so much snow we are unable to find the poo (which is rare
around here) we'll scoop what we can and just have to spend more time
there next week!
If the weather is so bad that it is unsafe to
drive or be outdoors, we will let you know right away, and be there as
soon as it's safe!
We do not work the following holidays:
New Years Day Memorial Day 4th of July
Thanksgiving Labor Day Christmas Eve & Day
If you normal scooping day falls on one of these holidays we will scoop a day early or the next available time, depending on which day of the week it falls on.
